My Top 5 Everyday Makeup Products

I’ve thrown away hundreds of used products and tried dozens of different makeup brands during my 6-or-so years of wearing makeup, but there are some products I can’t help but stay loyal to.

Here are my top five everyday makeup products, that I’ve been using and loving for years:

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer  £4.19
If you love drugstore makeup, then I’m certain you would have come across this concealer before. Just a little bit goes a long way and I never have issues with under-eye creasing. I use shades Fair (1) and Cool Medium (2) to conceal my dark circles and banish blemishes.


Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation  £7.99
In my opinion this is such an underrated foundation and I have no idea why! Its satin finish makes it ideal for any skin type, as it’s neither too oily or matte. It has a medium-buildable coverage which enables you to layer it without looking cakey. I use this foundation during the day and on nights out to give me a flawless base and healthy-looking skin.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder  £3.99
I use the shade 001 Transparent to mattify liquid products and prevent my skin from looking too shiny. I love this powder as it keeps me matte for hours but doesn’t cause my makeup to crease or look patchy - I take this product everywhere with me!


Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wiz  £22
This is one of my more expensive everyday makeup items, but I just can’t resist repurchasing it. If you’re like me and love natural looking brows, you can’t go wrong with this product. I’ve tried a few different brow pencils throughout the years and nothing creates hair strokes quite like this one. It is also multi-sided with a spooley brush on one end, making it a great product for maintaining perfect brows on-the-go.
MUA Lip Liner Caramel Nougat  £1
This lip liner was way too cheap not to give it a go, and I’m so glad I did! The shade Caramel Nougat is what some people would call the ‘my lips but better’ colour. I’d describe it as a blush-pink shade that creates a natural looking lip whilst ensuring you look put-together.

When scrolling through Instagram, I can’t help but notice that every girl is wearing the same thing – trainers. Polished In Perspex

Picture this, you’ve bought an amazing new outfit which you’re dying to wear but have no shoes to match. We’ve all been there. This is why one of my favourite trends at the moment is perspex shoes, as their clear straps make them easy to style and work with pretty much any outfit. They’re great for people who want to look put together with minimal effort due to their barely there yet polished look; and let’s not forget how long they make your legs appear! I recently purchased two pairs of perspex shoes which have been awesome additions to my wardrobe this summer.
